Data Health Check

Data health relates to organisations' ability to show their impact both through case studies and consistent data

What this might look like

  • Review how your organisation currently works with data and provide recommendations on how this could be improved 


  • Assist with evaluation of current CRM, including how data collection points and utilisation of CRM could be improved 


  • Assist with data collection planning and process mapping to prepare for the implementation of a new or existing CRM  


  • Assist in implementing recommendations about how your organisation could more effectively use their data 


Visualisation of Information

This could be through online visual dashboarding software (Tableau or PowerBI), or through high quality reports

What this might look like

 

  • Provide visualisations of data to demonstrate trends, service use, cohort demographics and service needs through various mediums including: Power BI, Tableau, Free visualisation software (even Excel dashboards) 


  • Assistance with creating visualisations of data for the purpose of annual reports, service evaluation reports and tendering processes 


Service Design, Implementation and Innovation

Thoughtful planning of both the service you are going to deliver, and how you are going to demonstrate it's positive impact in your community of interest is essential in securing ongoing funding and support, and ensuring tangible outcomes for the communities you serve

What this might look like

  • Assist in writing grant and/or project proposals including assisting organisations to use existing data to demonstrate need and service gaps  


  • Assist with set up of new projects or programs, or reviewing of existing programs including selecting, reviewing and embedding outcome measures, data collection metrics and evaluation methods 


Process and Staff Development

Thoughtful planning of both the service you are going to deliver, and how you are going to demonstrate it's positive impact in your community of interest is essential in securing ongoing funding and support, and ensuring tangible outcomes for the communities you serve

What this might look like

  • Assist organisations to develop knowledge maintenance protocols, operational manuals and document processes to ensure practice is consistent across programs and staff 


  • Assist organisations to upskill their staff in analysing data including the importance of good data and embedding data into everyday practice 


  • Provide training (within scope) to fill organisational gaps in knowledge or practice  


  • Process mapping and creation of data workflows (new or improving existing)
